NEW WATERFORD-The Village of New Waterford will hold a special council meeting begins at 6 p.m. Monday in the Village Community Building to vote on two ordinances. A finance/legislative meeting follows at 6:15 p.m.

Fund to aid family

DAMASCUS - An account has been set up for the family of Jennifer Baker, the young mother and teacher who was killed in an automobile accident last week.

Her son, Jacob, 7, is still recovering from the accident at Akron Childrens Hospital.

Her daughter, Madilynn, 4, is at home. Funds collected will be used to help her children and husband Brent for medical expenses, travel expenses to the hospital, care of children, etc.
