Ottelia “Tillie” Ford

EAST PALESTINE-Ottelia "Tillie" Ford, 95, of 1043 Bacon Ave., died at her residence at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

She was born Feb. 1, 1914, in New Waterford, a daughter of the late Edward and Ethel (Shunk) Luek.

Mrs. Ford had been employed as a seamstress at the former Kenmar Division of Ethan Allen for 40 years, retiring in 1979. She was a member of the New Waterford Lutheran Church.

Her husband, William G. Ford, whom she married June 21, 1934, preceded her in death May 13, 1999.

Survivors include a son, John E. Ford of Morgantown, W.Va.; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church of New Waterford. Burial will be in New Waterford Cemetery.
