Columbiana man faces drug charges
By MARY ANN GREIERCOLUMBIANA - A Columbiana man was charged with possession of cocaine after a two-month investigation culminated with a search of his home Thursday and the seizure of crack cocaine, marijuana and money from the residence.
Gregory L. Bradley Jr., 30, of 42082 state Route 517, was taken into custody at the scene for the fifth-degree felony charge.
Columbiana County Drug Task Force Director Det. Dan Downard said additional charges which may be pending against Bradley will be handled through the county grand jury.
The DTF, with help from the Sheriff's Office and Lisbon Police, executed a search warrant at the residence Bradley shares with his girlfriend and three children. Two of the children, both toddlers, and the girlfriend were present during the search.
According to a press release issued by Downard, the warrant resulted from two months of investigation into allegations that illegal drugs such as marijuana and crack cocaine were being sold at the residence. During the search, agents found crack cocaine, marijuana and a small amount of cash. The amounts for the drugs had not been determined.
Downard alleged Bradley was "doing more than just supplying himself with narcotics."
He said they were cooperative at the scene, with no problems reported.
