COLUMBIANA- The Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to its 8th annual Columbiana Christmas Parade, in conjunction with the city's annual "Christmas in Columbiana."

The parade will move out from Joshua Dixon School at 10 a.m. on Saturday and proceed down Main Street to Union Street.

The theme is "The Wonder of Christmas."

Prior to the parade, the Methodist Church is offering a pancake and sausage breakfast beginning at 8 a.m. After the parade, the chamber will be taking pictures with Santa at the log cabin on the square for $3. Other activities through the day will include: a lunch/bake/craft sale at the First Presbyterian Church following the parade; a gift basket sale uptown, benefiting the Way Station; the 18th annual St. Jude Craft Sale; free Christmas movies at the Columbiana Public Library beginning at 1:30 p.m.; a holiday greens sale by the Boy Scouts; and a Christmas homes tour and luncheon sponsored by the Columbiana Women's Club.

The town stores will be welcoming guests with special sales and refreshments, and local entertainers will be wandering through the shops, adding to the Christmas spirit.

The Chamber will also place containers uptown on the day of the parade for food donations from members of the community.
