Danielle Bequeath becomes bride of Matthew Shaw

Danielle Bequeath and Matthew Shaw exchanged nuptial vows at 2 p.m. Aug. 22 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Youngstown.

Monsignor Michael Cariglio officiated the wedding between the daughter of Alan and Cheryl Bequeath of North Lima and son of Mary Ellen Shaw and Melvin Shaw of New Waterford. The reception was held at the Barn and Gazebo Ltd. in Salem.

The bride wore a white satin strapless princess line gown with a chapel train and an empire waistline that was accented with embroidery, metal accents and crystal sequin beading. The matron of honor was Tina Bequeath, sister-in-law of the bride, of Poland, who wore a deep amethyst empire waistline gown. The best man was Nathan Gray, friend of the groom, of West Lafayette, Ind. The flower girl was Caitlyn Bable, cousin of the groom, accompanied by Logan Bequeath, nephew of the bride. Ushers included Alan Bequeath II, Tyler Robertson, Michael Shaw, Cody Bable and Joseph Kusior. Readers at the mass celebration were Teri Bequeath, sister of the bride, and David Shaw, brother of the groom.

The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and Masters of Science in criminal justice. She is currently pursuing her PhD in sociology at the University of Akron.

The groom graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. He is practicing as a professional engineer.

The couple resides in New Waterford.
