Mr. and Mrs. Howard Coy celebrate 60th anniversary

Mr. And Mrs. Howard Coy of Salem recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 22.

The former Ann Dugas and Mr. Coy were married on Oct. 22, 1949, at St. Paul Church in Salem by Father Herbert Cook.

Mr. Coy operated the Coy Buick dealership until 1974. He then worked with Zimmerman Olds and Stadium GMC. He now works part-time for Donnell Ford and the Salem Country Club.

Mrs. Coy worked for Dr. Ralph Vance and Salem City Schools. She is currently employed part-time at Peebles Department Store. They both volunteer at Salem Community Hospital and are active members of the church.

The couple has two children, Deb Watson of Louisville, Ky., and Barb (Tom) Wagner of Salem. They also have three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The Coys recently spent a week at Dewey Beach, Del., their favorite vacation spot.
