YOUNGSTOWN-Betty Jane Hunsinger Ruane, 92, died Oct. 31.

Born Sept. 9, 1917, on the east side of Youngstown, she was the daughter of Freas and Rebecca Hunsinger.

Mrs. Ruane was employed at the Ravenna Arsenal during World War II and later at Conroy's Market for many years. She was a member of the Austintown Community Church.

She was preceded in death in 1989 by her husband, Thomas L. Ruane, whom she married on Sept. 22, 1943.

Survivors include her son, Thomas F. (Tim) Ruane and his wife, Donna; nieces, nephews, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Episcopal Church in Youngstown. Calling hours begin at 10 a.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mill Creek Metro Parks and sent to Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown 44509.

Arrangements were handled by the Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home.
