KENSINGTON- Ada Fay Shaver, 84, of Kensington, died Friday at the Alliance Community Hospital.

She was born May 23, 1925, to the late Nickolas E. and Velma Gussie (Ridgeway) Kirsch.

She married Willard Ernest "Mike" Shaver on Oct. 6, 1951, and he preceded her in death on June 11, 2002.

Shaver is survived by a daughter, Betty (Monte) Hull of Kensington; two sons, W. Edward "Ed" (Theresa) Shaver of Carrollton and Richard Kirsch and his fiancee Kathy of Canton; a brother-in-law, George Shaw of East Rochester; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

In addition to her parents and husband, Shaver was preceded in death by a son, Cecil Shaver; a grandson, Richard Kirsch; four sisters, Esther Shaw, Doris Cover, Elizabeth Kalpac and Louise Shaw; and one brother, Bruce Kirsch.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Maple-Cotton Funeral Home with Bob Noland of the Hanoverton Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in the Grove Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Hanoverton Church of Christ.
