Salem High Class of 1956 will meet

SALEM-The Salem High School Class of 1956 will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 11 at the Salem Hills Golf and Country Club.

'The Man Who Came to Dinner' on stage

SALEM-The public is invited to the Salem High School Drama Department's presentation of its fall play, "The Man Who Came to Dinner" at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, and Saturday, Nov. 21. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Senior citizens are invited to a special package program at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at Salem High School which includes dinner and the play.

Admission is $10. Dinner will be provided by the SHS Spanish Club and National Honor Society.

Tickets may be purchased from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Nov. 4, 5, 11 and 12 in the high school cafeteria (enter through the back door).

Senior Citizens Club accepting reservations

SALEM-The Salem Senior Citizens Club is accepting reservations for its Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners at the Memorial Building.

The Thanksgiving dinner will be served at noon Nov. 18, followed by the Christmas dinner at noon Dec. 16. Members must first pay their 2010 dues before purchasing their tickets.

Tickets must be purchased before Nov. 5 by calling Alma Dixon at 330-332-4528.

Scrapbooking Fellowship beginning

SALEM-Emmanuel Lutheran Church is starting a weekday morning scrapbooking fellowship. The public is welcome.

Holiday Fashion Show set at Stambaugh

YOUNGSTOWN-The Stambaugh Pillars, the fund-raising arm of Stambaugh Auditorium, will present its Holiday Fashion Show on Nov. 4 in the Stambaugh Auditorium Ballroom, 1000 Fifth Ave. The event begins with a social hour at 10 a.m. with a preview of the raffle prizes and shopping in the Dillard's Boutique in the lobby. Holiday arrangements from Lutz Greenhouse will be displayed and offered for sale. Dillard's will donate a $500 shopping spree, a $300 shoe wardrobe and two designer baskets. Everyone present will receive a $50 coupon toward the purchase of $150 or more at Dillard's. After an 11:30 a.m. catered lunch by Antones, the fashion show will be presented by Dillard's. Judy Conti, of Judy Conti Dance Studios, is the fashion coordinator. Tickets are $35 each and available by calling 330-747-5175.
