Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gall of 1026 E. Fourth St., Salem, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 24.

The former Virginia Courtney and Mr. Gall were married at the Winona Methodist Church by the Rev. Thomas Hammerton.

The couple has four children, Beth (Todd) Duvall, Mary Lou Hartshorn, Carolyn (Micheal) Ketchum, and Daniel Gall, all of Salem. They also have six grandchildren.

Mr. Gall retired from the Heston Corporation and White Farm Equipment.

Mrs. Gall retired from the Community Action Agency in Lisbon.

The couple traveled to Switzerland with friends to mark this special occasion. A surprise family celebration was hosted on Sept. 27 by their children, brothers David and Roger Gall and Wade Courtney.
