Marie C. Leyman
SALEM-Marie C. Leyman, 80, of 1388 S. Lincoln Ave. died at 2: 20 p.m. Monday at her daughter's home.
Born July 14, 1929 in Salem, she was the daughter of William and Nellie (Cross) Bergman.
Mrs. Leyman was a finisher for Royal China in Sebring for 15 years and had also worked for Mustang Products in Damascus, retiring in 1991. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Salem.
Her husband, Donald G. Leyman Sr., whom she married July 26, 1947, died Nov. 22, 1991.
Survivors include a daughter, Diana Leyman of Columbiana; two sons, Donald G. Leyman Jr. of Salem and William Leyman of Sebring; three sisters, Gloria Holisky of Columbiana, Blanche Feezle of Leetonia and Arlene Probert of Washington; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a son, Duane Leyman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Leetonia with the Rev. Thomas Eisweirth officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
