Kimberly Rhodes and Michael Sperlazza were united in marriage on May 30 at the Winona United Methodist Church. Pastor Bill Church officiated during the couple's double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jim and Karen Rhodes of Salem. The bridegroom's parents are Mike and Linda Sperlazza of Steubenville.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She appeared in a strapless, ivory satin Pronovias Rialto A-line gown featuring a chapel-length train, beaded bodice with side gathering, and beaded tulle inlet. The gown was accented with a fingertip length mantilla veil. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of pink roses and white lilies.
Lauren Crissman of Raleigh, N. C. served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Tenzek of Milwaukee, Wisc., Antonia Zakelj of Cleveland, Mikey Serensky of Hanoverton and Jordyn Farver of Wadsworth. The attendants were attired in floor-length lapis gowns and carried bouquets of spring flowers. Renee Antonelli, the bridegroom's cousin, served as the flower girl.
Jesse Eckenrode of Wintersville served as best man. Groomsmen were Nick Tuttle of Steubenville, Chad Gunion of Myrtle Beach, N. C., Nick Mead of Charleston, S. C., and Tim Rhodes, of Dublin, the bride's brother. Danny Freppon, the bride's cousin, served as an usher.
Approximately 240 guests attended the reception held at the Salem Golf Club. A rehearsal dinner hosted by the bridegroom's parents was held at Das Dutch Inn in Columbiana.
Following a honeymoon in Kiawah Island, S. C., the couple is residing in Salem.
