James P. Sullivan
Lisbon - James P. Sullivan, 64, of 39130 Grant St. died at 1:15 p.m. Monday at Salem Community Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Sullivan was born July 25, 1945 in New Brighton, Pa., a son of the late James P. and Barbara R. Mulig Sullivan and had lived in Lisbon since 1966 coming from Fallston, Pa. He had employed at the Columbiana Foundry for 39 years.
He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #8106 of New Galilee.
A son, James P. (Jennifer) Sullivan, III of Seneca, Mo. and a daughter, Crystal (Jerry Lindner) Sodergren of East Palestine survive him as does a brother, Steve (Lorraine) Sullivan of New Galilee, PA; and four sisters, Frances Sullivan, Fallston, PA, Barbara Lindemann, Bridgewater, PA, Midge Hansen, Rochester, PA, and Catherine Bentel, New Galilee, PA. Other survivors include his seven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Rosemarie Sullivan, Dolores Ann Henry, and Rosalie Bolland.
Friends will be received at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, East Palestine, from 2- 7 p.m. Thursday. The funeral service, conducted by Rev. Daniel Cipar of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, will be held at the conclusion of calling hours.
