North Lima's Piney Creek Primitives was one of many arts, crafts and food vendors stepping back in time at the 27th annual Shaker Woods Festival in Columbiana Saturday. The festival opened this weekend, offering residents in the tri-state area a taste of life with the Shakers. "The festival brings a lot of business to the area, but most importantly, it brings back the history of the Shakers- giving our hearts and hands to God," said Columbiana resident Sue Ferguson, who promotes the festival with her husband, Sam. Located on County Line Road just west of state Route 7, the festival will continue from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. today, Aug. 15-16 and Aug. 22-23. (Salem News photo by Kevin Howell)
