POLICE REPORT

POSTED: August 9, 2009

Assault

A man from the 23000 block of Ridge Road reported on station at 2:03 a.m. Saturday that he had been assaulted by two men, one from Malvern and the other Minerva, while at a friend's party that night. He claimed that he was struck in the back of the head with a beer bottle after a verbal dispute escalated into shoving, but did not want to press charges.

Domestic

A woman from the 7000 block of Depot Road reported at 2:16 a.m. Saturday that her brother and father had been arguing and she got shoved into a pole, hurting her back. When contacted, the father claimed that he and his wife had been arguing at a local bar and the argument continued at home where the family joined, including the complainant who he claimed kicked him between the legs. Blood was evident on the bridge of his nose. No charges were filed.

Assault

Deputies responded to the United Local Schools at 5:18 a.m. Saturday to meet a man and his sister who reported that he had been assaulted by a woman while at her residence because he fought off her romantic advances. He claimed that she beat him about the face, but did not want any charges filed, just to record the incident. A deputy went to the woman's residence and found everything to be fine. The woman later called dispatch and complained that the deputy came to her home at 6 a.m.
