LISBON - In county Municipal Court on Monday, a Lisbon man was sentenced to 60 days in the county jail for OVI third offense, driving without a valid license and a turn signal violation.

Additionally, Floyd Gillmore, 60, Center Avenue, was fined $650 and had his driver's license suspended for two years on the charges.

Jasin Gamble, 31, Rainbow Road, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 20 days in the county jail, was fined $675 and had his driver's license suspended for six months for OVI first offense; review hearing Nov. 24.

Shane Bagley, 30, West State Street, Salem, was sentenced to 10 days in the county jail, was fined $600 and had his driver's license suspended for six months for OVI first offense and driving under suspension.

Kristopher Kaufman, 23, Seville Lane, East Liverpool, pleaded not guilty to OVI first offense and lane violations; pretrial July 16.

Melinda Schroeder, 25, Richardson Avenue, Negley, was sentenced to 10 days in the county jail and was fined $100 for driving under suspension.

John Powell, 18, Ephram Street, East Palestine, pleaded not guilty to assault. Bond was set at $2,500; pretrial July 13. Powell is accused of punching an inmate in the left eye.

A charge of assault against Benjamin Wells, 46, West Main Street, East Palestine, was dismissed based on clear and convincing evidence that he is not competent to stand trial.

Shain Hostetter, 27, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence. Bond was set at $5,000; pretrial July 28. Hostetter is accused of punching his wife in the head and throwing her across a room.

Bradley Carpenter, 24, North Pleasant Drive, East Palestine, pleaded not guilty to theft. Bond was set at $1,000; pretrial July 6. Carpenter is accused of stealing a case of beer from Campbell's Grocery.

Ryan Ridgeway, 23, Market Street, North Lima, pleaded not guilty to possession of drugs; pretrial Aug. 25.

Scott Jarrett, 52, Rochester Road, East Rochester, was fined $250 for persistent disorderly conduct, amended from assault.

Jack Veon, 30, Youngstown, was fined $200 for failure to reinstate license, amended from driving under suspension.

Michael Joy, 21, West Pershing Street, Salem, pleaded not guilty to failure to reinstate license; pretrial Aug. 3.

Jeffery Skidmore, 29, Gromley Road, Salem, was fined $150 for driving without a valid license, amended from driving under suspension.

Abigayle Argyle, 18, Lori Lane, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for unsafe vehicle, amended from failure to control.

Bryan Walsh, 23, Petersburg, was fined $105 for unsafe vehicle, amended from failure to yield, and a seat belt violation.

Wallace Whipple, 59, Youngstown, was fined $100 for criminal trespassing.

Devin Decker, 21, East Park Avenue, Columbiana, was fined $100 for driving without a valid license.
