Berniece (Knag) Bell Billeter

SEBRING-Berniece (Knag) Bell Billeter, 94, of 800 South 15th Street, died at 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at the Crandall Medical Center in Sebring.

She was born April 28, 1915, in Canada, the daughter of the late Jessie and Etta Mae (Elliott) Knag.

Berniece was a member of the Damascus Friends Church for 60+ years, where she taught Youth Church for 17 years and was a member of the Rebecca Coleman Missionary Circle. She was a member of the Thursday Afternoon Club and a graduate of Goshen Union High School Class of 1933.

She loved her church family and had enjoyed entertaining and being with her immediate family.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters, Bonnie Bell Sees of Canton, Leanna (Doug) Bell Galbraith of Alliance, Bob (Lynn) Bell of Cincinnati, Richard Bell and fiancee, Linda Kennedy of Wisconsin, Rev. Bruce (Judy) Bell of Columbus; 12 grandchildren, Debbie Sees Cantrell, Carol Sue Sees Wally, Rob Sees, Amy Sees Breazeal, Joe Bell, Amanda Bell, Adam Bell, Matt Bell, Jennifer Bell, Jonathan Bell, Joshua Bell and Bethany Bell; six great-granddaughters, Lori Breazeal, Leanna Wally, Jessica Wally, Peyton Bell, Madison Cantrell and McKenzie Cantrell; and a great- grandson, Gavin Bell.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 38 years, Robert Adam Bell, whom she married May 7, 1935.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Robert Ross Bell in 1942 and Wayne Leroy Bell in 1941; and three brothers, Leon, Lyle and James Knag.

Services will be held at noon on Saturday at the Damascus Friends Church with the Rev. John Ryser officiating.

Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. until noon on Saturday at the church.
