Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Feicht celebrate golden anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Feicht of 670B Springfield Road, Columbiana, observed their 50th wedding anniversary with several dinners locally and a trip to South Carolina.

The former Carolyn Harris and Mr. Feicht were married on March 28, 1959, at the Calvary Evangelical Brethren Church in North Lima. The Rev. William Seith officiated.

Mr. Feicht, son of the late Howard and Dorthea Feicht, taught at Columbiana High School for 12 years and was on the board of education for eight years. He retired from Wellsville High School where he taught from 1985 to 2000. He also coached basketball, track and football.

Mrs. Feicht is the daughter of the late James and Lettie Harris. She was employed at General Fireproofing and Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp and was an assistant girls track coach at Wellsville High School.

Mr. and Mrs. Feicht owned Feicht's Antique Auto Restoration from 1972 to 1985 and are members of the Nazarene Church in Columbiana.

The couple's children are Todd (Diana) Feicht of Salem, Joel (Betty) Feicht of Fort Worth, Texas and Julie (Joe) Lee of Fort Mill, S.C. They also have seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
