LISBON - In Columbiana County Municipal Court on Friday, a preliminary hearing was set for June 2 for a Salineville man on a felony charge of having weapons while under disability. Bond was set at $10,000 for Brian Boord, 48, East Main Street, Salineville. A pretrial was scheduled for June 2 for Boord on a charge of aggravated menacing. Boord is accused of pointing a firearm at another man and threatening to kill him on May 10, while he was under a weapons disability.

Robert Vecchio, 45, state Route 164, Lisbon, was sentenced to 180 days in the county jail and was fined $380 on charges of driving under suspension, use of unauthorized plate, speeding and a seat belt violation; video review Aug. 31. Vecchio was sentenced to 30 days in the county jail and was fined $100 on a charge of theft. He took a 40-ounce can of beer from a Circle K store without paying.

Ronald Middleton Jr., 42, Pidgeon Road, Salem, was sentenced to 20 days in the county jail, was fined $675 and had his driver's license suspended for 180 days on a first offense of OVI; review hearing Oct. 26. A charge of reckless operation against Middleton was dismissed.

Allison Gary, 55, state Route 14, East Palestine, pleaded not guilty to a first offense of OVI and left of center; pretrial July 9.

Boyd Johnson, 46, Signal Road, Columbiana, was fined $150 on a charge of domestic violence. Boyd pushed his live-in girlfriend onto a bed, grabbed her hair and punched her in the head.

Jessica Matuska, 29, Oak Ridge Road, Wellsville, pleaded not guilty to speeding in a school zone; pretrial July 9.

Scott Fankhauser, 26, New Middletown, was fined $60 on charges of speeding and a seat belt violation.

Rex Martin, 42, Mercer, Pa., was fined $100 on a charge of speeding.

Amanda Ferry, 20, Wood Street, Lisbon, was fined $100 on a charge of speeding.

Jeremy Grimm, 21, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $75 on a charge of speeding.

Michelle Anderson, 33, Ellwood City, Pa., pleaded not guilty to speeding; court trail July 14.
