Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Phillips of Damascus recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a dinner at the Spread Eagle Tavern with their daughters and husbands, Richard and Beth Walter of Kalamazoo, Mich., Gregory and Kendra Johnson of Hanoverton, and Christopher and Barbara Sieradzki of Monee, Ill.
The former Marjorie Santee and Mr. Phillips were married on April 21, 1944, at the Damascus Friends Church.
Mr. Phillips is retired from the former Moffett's Men's Wear in Salem.
Mrs. Phillips is a homemaker.
They have six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
