Dave and Connie Jones of Beloit have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sarah-beth Jones, to Ron Stratton Jr. He is the son of Ron and Cathy Stratton Sr. of Leetonia.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of West Branch High School and a student at Kent State University, working toward a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is currently a nurse intern at Alliance Community Hospital where she intends to remain after graduating.
Her fiance, a 2002 graduate from Leetonia High School, plans to graduate from Youngstown State University in May with a bachelor's degree in education. He is currently an employed at a restaurant in Columbiana.
The couple is planning a wedding on Sept. 12 at the Salem Saxon Club.
