Dave and Jan Blasiman of Winona, and Keith Clapsaddle of Greenville, S.C., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Clapsaddle, to Jonathan Huber. He is the son of Lawrence and Florence Huber Jr. of Clayton, N.C.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of United High School and a 2006 graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in middle childhood education. She is a math and science teacher in the Johnston County School District in North Carolina.

Her fiance, a 1998 graduate of Council Rock High School in Newtown, Pa., is employed as a lineman for the Town of Clayton, N.C.

The couple's private wedding will be held on Aug. 1 at the Hanoverton Presbyterian Church. A dinner reception follows at the Das Dutch Village Inn in Columbiana.
