The Vodrey Chapel in Beaver Creek State Park was the setting for the fall wedding of Rachelle King and Ryan Betz.
The bride is the daughter of Ruth King, 1340 Ridge Road, Salem, and the late Stan King.
The bridegroom's parents are Ralph and Julia Betz of 8640 Lynnett St., Alliance.
Pastor John Pierce officiated at the couple's double-ring ceremony at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 11. Joni Pierce sang The Lord's Prayer while communion was served.
The bride, escorted by her brother, Zach King, was attired in a Mori Lee cream gown with vertically shirred tulle overlays. The empire bodice of the gown was appliqued with elegant cascading lace and featured a modified chapel-length train with buttons.
She carried a hand-tied bouquet of sunflowers, limonium, and hypericum berries with ribbons of raffia.
A private reception for 11 guests followed at the Spread Eagle Tavern.
The bride, a 2002 graduate of West Branch High School, also graduated in 2005 from the Hannah E. Mullins School of Practical Nursing. She is employed at Scott Process Systems Inc.
The bridegroom, a 1995 graduate of Marlingon High School, is employed with Ralph Betz and Sons Excavating.
Following their honeymoon to Savannah, Ga., the couple resides in Homeworth.
