Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Grossen celebrate 60th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Grossen of New Waterford celebrated 60 years of marriage on March 12.

The former Mary Bell, daughter of the late William and Mabel Bell, married Marlin Grossen, son of the late William and Blanche Grossen, on March 12, 1949, at Christ Lutheran Church in Struthers.

Mr. Grossen operated Crystal Springs Fruit Farm and retired from Lawless Industries as a welder.

Mrs. Grossen retired from General Electric after 18 year as a purchasing agent. The Grossens are active members of Zion Lutheran Church in New Waterford.

They have four children, Thomas Grossen, Joyce (Keith) Keslar, Sandy (Jay) Nunamaker, all of New Waterford, and Paul Grossen of Cleveland; six grandchildren, Chris (Michele) Grossen and Amy Grossen, both of Madison, Ind., Jill (James) Kallas, Nathan (Melisa) Nunamaker and Sara Nunamaker, all of New Waterford and Tim (Lindsey) Keslar of New Orleans, La.; and six great-grandchildren.

The family hosted a private dinner and participated in a family trip to the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh.
