OVI

At 8:36 a.m. Thursday, James Herron, of 192 E. State St., Salem, was arrested for operating a vehicle intoxicated and no operator's license following a traffic stop on North Lundy Avenue.

Breaking and entering

At 9:43 a.m. Thursday, an East Third Street resident reported that someone entered her residence and removed her wallet.

Failure to yield

At 9:54 a.m. Thursday, Robert Willis, 68, of U.S. Route 30, East Rochester, was cited for failure to yield following a two-vehicle crash on South Lincoln Avenue in which he pulled from a stop sign on Southeast Boulevard and struck a vehicle driven by Mary Gallo, 77, of North Bear Street, Lisbon, who was traveling north on South Lincoln.

Juveniles

At 5 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to an open field next to Kelley Park in reference to someone riding a dirt bike there. Officer spoke with two juveniles and advised them they needed the Salem school board's permission to be on the field.

Domestic

At 6:35 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a residence in the 600 block of Ohio Avenue in reference to a domestic in progress. Officers spoke with a male subject who advised them that he had had a verbal dispute with his girlfriend, but that there was no further problems.

Breaking and entering

At 4:56 a.m. Friday, a complainant from the 900 block of Prospect Street reported that sometime between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. that day someone broke into a vehicle parked at the residence by breaking out the passenger window with a brick and removed approximately $30 in cash.

Warrant arrest

At 9:53 a.m. Friday, David l. Jenkins, of 1033 Buckeye Avenue, Salem, was arrested on an active warrant out of the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office.

Shoplifting

At 11:33 a.m. Friday, officers responded to a business in the 2000 block of East State Street in reference to an attempted theft of auto parts.

Warrant arrest

At 3:22 p.m. Friday, Kenneth R. Phillips, of 840 W. Pershing St. 1, Salem, was arrested on an active warrant out of the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office for criminal damaging.

COLUMBIANA

Theft

At 2:37 p.m. Tuesday, a West Park Avenue resident reported that her license plate had been removed from her vehicle and had appeared on her neighbor's car. The plate was canceled upon being returned to the victim.

Harassment

At 9:25 p.m. Tuesday, a Union Street resident reported that a known subject had been harassing her.

Warrant arrest

At 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, Heather Moore, 35, of 107 W. Park Ave., Columbiana, was arrested on an active warrant out of the department.

Stop sign

At 7:40 a.m. Wednesday, Samuel Bell, 66, of 435 N. Main St., Columbiana, was cited for a stop sign violation following a two-vehicle crash on West Park Avenue in which he was southbound on North Vine Street and struck a vehicle driven by Diane Miladin, 39, of 2742 St. Clair Ave., East Liverpool, who was traveling east on West Park.
