Tricia Tice becomes bride of Daric Barkee

Tricia Tice and Daric Barkee were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at Greenford Christian Church.

The bride is the daughter of Brent and Cheryl Tice of 2068 Edgewood Drive, Salem. His parents are David Barkee and Barbara Ocheskey, both of Cheyenne, Wyo.

Mr. Jeff Hugus officiated at the couple's double-ring ceremony.

Nuptial music was provided by Classical String Quartet and Lori Brodzinski, the bride's aunt at the piano; Kelly Morckel, the bride's cousin, vocalist; and Piper Major, the bridegroom's cousin, vocalist.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her mother and father.

Her ivory organza over satin gown featuring metallic embroidery, crystal beading and sequins was enhanced with cap sleeves with matching embroidery and a semi-cathedral train.

She carried a cascading nosegay of pink roses and white Casablanca lilies.

The maid of honor was Jenna Grubbs of Brecksville. The matron of honor was Abigail Blackmon of Yelm, Wash., the bride's cousin.

Attendants were Megan Tice of Hilliard, the bride's sister-in-law; Kristen Colgan of Valrico, Fla.; Danielle Pash of Willoughby; Brandi Barkee-Gay of Cheyenne, Wyo., the bridegroom's sister .

Flower girls were Katie Martig of Salem and Gianna DeNiro of Boardman, the bride's cousin.

Nathan Spann of Sterling, Va., was the best man.

Ushers included Trent Tice of Valrico, Fla., the bride's brother; Troy Tice of Hilliard, the bride's brother; John Gay of Cheyenne, Wyo., the bridegroom's brother-in-law; Greg Pratz of Grand Junction, Colo.; Zachary Clements of Casper, Wyo.

The ring bearer was Cadence Gay of Cheyenne, Wyo., the bridegroom's nephew.

Approximately 300 guests attended the reception at The Links at Firestone Farms in Columbiana.

Presiding at the guest book were Kristen Tice, the bride's cousin and Lauren Martig.

The couple resides in Savannah, Ga. The bride graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor's of science degree in speech, hearing, language science and from Bowling Green State University with a master's of education in special education and is employed as a preschool intervention specialist with Chatham County Schools in Savannah, Ga. The bridegroom is currently serving in the Army, stationed at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah, Ga.

Special guests of the couple included the bride's grandparents, Eldon and Irene Morckel and Ruth Tice of Salem; and the bridegroom's grandmother, Barbara Barkee, Cheyenne, Wyo.
