Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Manley celebrate 60th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond J. Manley of Minerva recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with their family.

The former Wanda J. Zwick and Mr. Manley were married on Nov. 13, 1948, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Dungannon by the Rev. Father Paul F. Marceau.

The Manleys retired from Summitville Tile after traveling for the company throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

A Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Manley served in the Pacific Theater.

Mrs. Manley is a homemaker and spent her earlier years as a full-time mother of six including Richard (Pamela) Manley of Key West, Fla.; John (Sheila) Manley of Columbus; Karen Manley of East Rochester; Christine (Robert) Phillips of Salem; Bradley (Niki) Manley of Sugarloaf Shores, Fla.; and Lisa Taff of Minerva. The couple also has 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Manley are members of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Minerva.
