Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth D. Crowl of Columbiana celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Oct. 12 at a family gathering. Hosting the event were their daughters, Katelyn Crowl, who attends college at Kent State University Salem campus, and Amanda Crowl, a senior at Columbiana High School. Also hosting were the couple's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Sevenich of Leetonia and Mr. and Mrs. Ken J. Crowl of Columbiana.
In addition to immediate family, many members of their original wedding party were in attendance.
The former Susan Sevenich and Mr. Crowl were married on Oct. 8, 1983, at St. Jude Church, by the Rev. Robert Flynn of the church, and the Rev. Donald Newland of Columbiana First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Crowl has been in the remodeling and construction business, affiliated with Martin's Home Improvement in Lisbon, for 24 years. He is a member of the Leetonia Sportsman's Club and an avid hunter and fisherman.
Mrs. Crowl has been employed at WellPoint, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 23 years, in customer care and currently as a benefits analyst. She enjoys walking and supporting their children's activities. The family attends St. Jude Church in Columbiana.
In celebration of their 25th anniversary the couple renewed their vows at Catholic Diocese of Youngstown, wedding anniversary celebration, held at St. Columba Cathedral. The Most Reverend George V. Murry, S. J., bishop of Youngstown, served as celebrant.
