LISBON - In county Municipal Court Monday, Galvin Ivy, 18, East Pershing Street, Salem, was given one year probation, 30 hours community service and fined $150 after pleading no contest for discharging a firearm inside village limits.

Ivy, along with Ken Raymond, fired a .22 caliber rifle from the rear door of the residence on Oct. 10. A black Cadillac was struck by a bullet from one of the guns, causing damage to the driver's side quarter panel. Ivy stated he did not fire at the car.

Ken Raymond, 21, East Fifth Street, Salem, was given one year probation, 30 hours community service and fined $150 after pleading guilty for discharging a firearm.

Raymond, along with Galvin Ivy, fired a .22 caliber rifle from the rear door of Ivy's East Pershing Street residence on Oct. 10, striking and damaging a black Cadillac.

Steven Paul, 41, Buffalo Road, Kensington, pleaded not guilty to probation against violations of a board; pretrial Dec. 1.

Paul reportedly was sent a notice on April 17 from the Columbiana County General Health District advising Paul to remove solid and charred waste from his property and obtain a sewage permit along with installing an appropriate sewage system within 30 days. Paul reportedly failed to do so. According to the report, Paul had been directing raw sewage to the ground, and conducting open dumping and burning of solid waste on his property without a permit.

Calvin McCon Jr., 39, Grafton Road, Leetonia, was sentenced to 147 days in jail, one year license suspension and fined $1,000 for second offense OVI, leaving the scene and DUS.

On Aug. 10, McCon rear-ended a vehicle on Franklin Avenue in Salem and fled. In Marc of 2007, McCon was pulled over for DUS after driving 42 mph in a 25 mph zone on South County Road in Washingtonville.

Hidie Howell, 29, Buck Road, Salem, was bound over to the grand jury on charges of receiving stolen property.

Howell was observed sitting in a car on Oct. 10 which was reported stolen the same day.

Jeffrey Custer, 30, Elm Street, Salem, was given one year probation, 30 hours community service and fined $150 for menacing.

Custer left threatening messages on a West Third Street resident's voice mail on Aug. 9, harassing the man and his mother.

Corey Ozehngar, 25, U.S. 30, Hanoverton, was sentenced to one year probation and fined $750 for first offense OVI.

Ozehngar was driving without two brake lights on East Pidgeon Road on Oct. 18.

George Feezle III, 33, Garfield Avenue, East Palestine, had charges of assault dismissed due to unavailability of the alleged victim.

Feezle was accused of grabbing a woman he lived with by the arm on July 12.

Wendy Davis, 51, Creek Road, New Waterford, was given one year probation, six months license suspension and fined $300 for physical control amended from first offense OVI.

Davis was charged with marked lanes on Nov. 7 after being stopped on Creek Road.

Tia Stewart, 35, Youngstown, pleaded no contest to theft; sentencing Nov. 6.

Stewart, along with her daughter, allegedly concealed $225.80 in merchandise while shopping at the Wal-Mart in Salem on Oct. 17.

Joseph Christensen, 36, U.S. 30, East Rochester, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence; pretrial Dec. 2.

Christensen reportedly threatened to kill his ex-wife on Oct. 18 and broke several things in the house as well.

Robbie Anglin, 33, South Market Street, East Palestine, pleaded not guilty to third offense OVI, speeding and a lane violation; pretrial Oct. 28.

Anglin also pleaded not guilty to receiving stolen property; preliminary hearing Oct. 28.

Anglin allegedly drove left of center on Hunston Road on Oct. 18.

Lance Richardson, 20, Alliance, pleaded not guilty to domestic violence; pretrial Oct. 28.

Ronald Elliott, 47, Vine Street, Salem, pleaded not guilty to first offense OVI and a lane violation; pretrial Nov. 10.

Jeffrey Murphy, 46, New Galilee, Pa., pleaded not guilty to first offense OVI; pretrial Dec. 2.

Joshua Watson, 29, Chester, W.Va., pleaded not guilty to first offense OVI, seat belt violation and marked lanes; pretrial Nov. 25.
