Michelle Elizabeth Schaefer and Joshua Mark Edmonds were united in an outdoor ceremony at 4 p.m. March 15 at Jekyll Island Club Hotel, Jekyll Island, Ga.
The bride is the daughter of Beth and Gary Schaefer of 906 E. Sixth St., Salem. The bridegroom's parents are Denice and Rick Edmonds of Defiance, Ohio.
The Rev. Jim Kenny officiated at the couple's double-ring ceremony.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Renee Schaefer of Chicago, Ill., the bride's sister, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Marie Wilson and Amanda Barnovich. The flower girls were Gabrielle Bajorek and Racheal Widman, the bride's cousins.
Samuel Widman, the bride's cousin, was the ring bearer. Ushers included Sean Kohl, Jason Edmonds, Jeremy Edmonds.
Approximately 100 guests attended the reception at The Jekyll Island Club Hotel in Jekyll Island.
The bride, a 2000 graduate of Salem High School and a 2005 graduate of Bowling Green State University, is an architectural designer at Branson Design.
The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Ayersville High School and in 2005 from Northwest State Community College with a degree in network administration. He is a computer services specialist II at Savannah State University.
Following a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple is residing in their home in Savannah, Ga.
