The Salem Elks Lodge 305 will hold its 7th annual poker run to benefit cerebral palsy on Sunday with the registration at 9 a.m. in the grill room. Bikes and cars will leave at noon for a 120-mile trip that ends with door prizes, raffles and a meal. The cost is $10 per person with all proceeds benefiting the Cerebral Palsy Association. Pictured getting prepared for the run is 7-year-old Paetyn Howell of Salem. She is surrounded by, from left, Elks members including Jeff Chapman, the cerebral palsy chairman, Denny Martin, Frank Koran, Russ Hill, Ken Kyser and Dick Jackson. The lodge is located at 824 E. State St. (Salem News photo by Larry Shields)
