The Salem American Legion Quaker City Band presented a Young People's Concert at the Orashan Memorial Civic Center in Waterworth Memorial Park Wednesday evening. According to Director Robert Domencetti, the concert was a "showcase of different instruments," with instrumental and vocal solos and guest directors featured throughout the concert. Joseph Mitchell, 10, directs the band as the guest youth director chosen from the crowd.Right, members of the crowd participate in the playing and singing of "YMCA."
