Charged with felony domestic violence
By the Salem NewsLISBON - A Salem man accused of trying to physically harm two teen-age girls was served Tuesday with a secret indictment for felony domestic violence.
Thomas Barfield, 48, of 418 Columbia St., was charged by the Columbiana County grand jury with two counts of the third-degree felony charge.
Court documents said the incidents occurred on May 24 with a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl, noting Barfield had been convicted of two domestic violence charges previously in 1995 and 2004, both in Youngstown Municipal Court.
