The former Joan P. Jackson and Mr. Coppock were married on May 3, 1968, at the Methodist Church in Washingtonville. The Rev. Albert Oaks officiated.
Mr. Coppock retired in 1996 from International Mill Service. He is employed part time at Coppock Inc.in Rogers and serves on the church board.
Mrs. Coppock is retired. She served as church organist for 48 years.
The festivities will be sponsored by the couple’s children and spouses, Darla (Robert) Copeland of Bloomingdale, Richard (Marlene) Kunkle of Leetonia, K. Lee Coppock of Silt, Colo., Shannon(Mike) Sartoski of Canton and Eric (Karen) Coppock of Bowling Green. The Coppocks have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The Northern Columbiana County Habitat for Humanity started construction on its 22d house at 1019 Newgarden Ave. in Salem on Saturday. Rod and Candi Solmen and their five children will occupy the house when it is completed in late summer or early fall.
