Brian Ford

DOVER, DEL. — Brian Ford of Dover died Wednesday May 28, 2008 in Kent General Hospital. He was 37.

Brian was born April 18, 1971 in Salem, Ohio to Robert Ford and the late Linda Seevers.

He worked as a general contractor for B&T siding in Dover. Brian loved NASCAR and was an avid fan “Dale, Jr.” He enjoyed fishing with his kids and being with friends and families at BBQ’s and get togethers.

Brian is survived by his wife of 12 years, Tracey Mell Ford of Dover; his children, Hunter, Megan and Hannah all at home; his father Robert Ford; his brother, Michael Ford and his wife Diana of Calcutta, OH; his mother and father in law, Jonni and Huey Brogan of Felton; sister and brother in law, Tammy and Bill Swiggett of Dover; brother in law, John Mell, Jr. of Ithaca, NY; special aunt, Diane Maenz and her husband Ernie of Salem, OH; six nephews and three nieces.

Memorial services will be held 7 p.m., Monday June 2, 2008 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt. 10) Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to The Brian Ford Memorial Fund c/o PNC Bank, 7 S. Main Street, Smyrna, DE 19977, for the children’s education.
