Mr. and Mrs. Wade Courtney of Hanoverton will observe their 40th wedding anniversary at an open reception from 4 to 7 p.m. June 8 at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Nikki Courtney of Hanoverton.
The former Linda Barber and Mr. Courtney were married on June 9, 1968. They were married at Damascus Methodist Church.
Mr. Courtney retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad.
Mrs. Courtney is employed by Town and Suburban Realty.
The Courtneys have three grandchildren, Matthew, Brooke and Luke.
