Look at all these political party junkies! LOL

Oh never ceases to amaze me. If Johnson didn't show up in Salem you fruit loop hypocrites would be screaming "he don't care about his constituents and hangs out in DC to much.

Most importantly, I could care less whether Johnson showed up or not. I bet Rodney doesn't care...my opinion, "HE IS FREE PUBLICITY". Salem has these projects going up and it gets spread far and wide. Now s.uck it up you political hacks and celebrate Herron's and only Herron's accomplishment. He is opening a door for Salem...embrace it!

The name calling the innuendo's yap .yap .yap.

And on that note, it was Mr Kosiba who said it, the implication being when he got involved and separated the banquet from the hotel all could proceed.

Watchdog is right on about giving credit where it is truly due.

And yes, my family and I will patronize all of your new businesses.

"People should take note of companies spending millions on brick and mortar projects." --> Right on Congressman! There are also other opportunities opening up in our area as a direct result of the Oil and Gas. I don't care if the big players are moving more south. The drilling and pad work is temporary work (drill the hole, build the pad and move on to the next). Its the ripple effect jobs Im interested in like the VAM USAs, Vallourec Stars , Exterrans, Dearing Compressor companies that are either expanding or moving into our area as a result of the Oil and Gas activity.

Also interesting how Mr Johnson is there to claim a bit of the credit.

And turtle-liker, you are 100% correct! but did you notice the two who were gushing about oil and gas--Kosiba and Johnson.

I found it interesting that Mr Kosiba said his primary function was to the oil, gas companies.

Not what I thought it was. But we'll keep paying him anyway.

Why are they so excited about the shale oil "boom" i mean "bust" in this area. All the big player are leaving and heading south. Do they not even read the salem news?? In the last week the pipeline that is going to save the county was shut down...
