IF your income was $1,000 for the month of 30 days.....THIS .0075% INCOME TAX would coast U....0.25 cents a day to KEEP all of the West Branch students, programs and teachers PRESENT. YEP a program is BASED on the classroom teacher. The "NO's" of the levy want teachers CUT. CUT Teachers=Cutting programs=cutting EDUCATION!

This is an INCOME TAX not a property tax I think b/c residents do NOT pay there property tax so really they are living for FREE. HOW "FAIR" is that? WB has been fiscal in the balancing the checkbook for the LAST 20 YRS! When in 20 yrs has the cost of operating your home gone UP!?

I will be VOTING YES! TO SUPPORT our schools and community. LOOK @ the filth of homes that are in the area. 53% of the WB district are free lunch=welfare. Welfare is NOT taxed on an INCOME TAX levy. Who NEEDS good school and the OPPORTUNITY to get OUT of welfare. West Branch DOES. A WONDERFUL MISSION PROJECT kept LOCALLY! The levy will cost the voter $7.50/$1,000 of INCOME.

If I was told correctly by one of the parents of a choral student, the position for Jennifer Zamarelli was "created" so that she could assist her husband. I think there is enough parents, that could volunteer to help with all of the musicals. There is so many things that could cut costs. Our teachers deserve more than they are getting. If that means cutting some of the extras so be it.

West Branch welcome to the new era. A pay freeze isn't enough. Come on and join in the fun, give backs, a healthy cut in the multiplier, going to the doctor will have to be more expensive, like the rest of us. In addition, how may have retired and get rehired at the position they just retired from. Who is making out on the deal?

My name tag is my chosen career. At first it was great, then in the 70’s it started. Concessions and give backs. E.W. Bliss was used by the wall streeters till there was nothing left to take. I landed in the automotive sector. As before things went well for a while then, as before, to save your job you had to cave. This time it was a 22% gross pay cut and insurance was now a lot more. Retire at 65, you must be joking. I chose manufacturing for a living. It’s been OK, but a worry free living it is not. I would have been happy with a pay freeze any number of times. This global economy we now live in, the one that was to create a ‘new’ middle class, is working backwards. The USA is becoming the new third world country in wages. The working people are paying all they can and everyone wants more.

We also have individuals in the administration that home school their children. They can take our tax money, but our schools are not good enough for them. VOTE "NO" until we clean up the administration.
