Calling a definitive statement such as, "there has never been another post from the same IP as me in the history of the site", dancing, is also hilarious.

Dancing?! You're the one claiming I have other names and you're tracking IP addresses, but you ask me to copy and paste the discussion that happened in this very comment section when you're called out on it...

"It's hilarious that you can't understand how ridiculous it is to think they're should be a background check of a business owner provided for a customer."

Grant, WHERE did anyone say that? Copy and paste it. In the meantime, when you get done dancing let us know.

Wow...well, I guess first of all, I just went ahead and disagreed with all of your comments, so now you can see there are 2. I hadn't even read any of this until just now.

Yet another thing that is really hilarious, you claim to be tracking IP addresses, and therefore you know I've created multiple names on here. Well, even if it's possible, I know that you aren't able to do it and you're just blowing smoke. You know how I know? Because I know for certain that there isn't another name on any article in the history of this site that has posted from the same IP as me. I have one name, it is my real one, I'm not a coward like you.

And I'm well aware that my home ownership is public knowledge, so what was the point in asking me? Remember when you claimed I was stalking you, yet I don't even know who you are? Hypocritical much?

And what do you mean "where did anyone say that"? Are you kidding me?? Not only was it said, it was defended by you.

watchdog I thinks he makes it up as he goes. Don't sweat it. You have to consider the source and his source isn't worth the consideration. :)

Everything is hilarious to you Grant. You say it every time. Hilarious, Hilarious!

One of these days, "hilarious" is going to walk up to you on the street one day and get a kick out watching you get smacked up side your arrogant head. All the people you tick off with the use of that real name may come back to haunt you! Keep up the good work. You have a terrible attitude towards people.

Grant, as a norm, you don't get it. questioner did, I did, we both get exactly what James was referring to and he explained why. Did you miss that? It isn't always about the renter being the problem. Did Jame's response sail over your head like a 747?

Grant, whether or not you want to believe it, there are a lot of bad landlords in this city. Private and Business. To assume there isn't makes you the FOOL.

Would you please stop picking on people? Grant it is ridiculous.

Nope, sure don't, so go ahead and explain why anybody would need God's mercy for asking who back ground checks landlords.

Please share your Godly wisdom.

I assumed the point he was making was that No One checks into landlords. And that some of them are scum, or employ scum. And the renter Doesn't know ahead of time.

Yes Grant, we are aware that it's about your entertainment to disrupt and insult residents any chance you can get when they are trying to discuss issues we all face. Your lack of input on these issues and only comments of insults to ridicule without merit stick out like a soar thumb.

So Grant, entertain us with your wisdom.

Why was James question a ridiculous question? What is your input on this subject? Maybe the question should be thrown back at you as to who is the landlord you are trying to protect and why?

You are good a claiming this all the time. "So we'll just leave it at that."

No, Grant, you are not going to pull this hit and run stunt. You are always quick to shove out your insults and demand people explain themselves. Now it's your turn and you need to play by your own rules you scream about all the time.

These ideas like the city council is looking at now. This to me is just a let's try this and see how it goes. That is not balance. It's like a recipe. One ingredient doesn't make the soup taste good, it takes all the ingredients to come together.

What is the number up to now? Over 2100 rentals? Really growing. Then they will adding another what is it, 60 or 120 with the Cleveland firm pulling their stunt. The city is turning into a rental environment. Then to make matters worse we start losing that balance. Home ownership shrinks. Middle class dies out. Starts deteriorating the city. The poor grow. Then it affects the tax base and lowers property values and homes are hard to sell. All it takes one lousy landlord and you got a problem neighborhood affecting an entire city.

I just believe we need to be working hard to deter the scum from wanting to come into this city to begin with. One of the many reasons I want to see our police department beefed up and working these streets strong and hard. They can't get inside the homes but they got them on the streets. There has to be a balance. Everything has to come together. Just my opinion.
