Outlaw, most likey with a digital xray machine. The actual cost to the patient for xrays is probably the same or lower. I'm not promising that. But given digital would elimimate the need for film and developer.

Dr. Brooks is a great vet.

While we do have several Vets in the area. With my extensive experiance in animal welfare and with my own pets. I won't take my pets to them. They may have a cheaper office visit but that's for a reason. Some are too old shool in their methods and just don't have the up to date knowledge they need.

"Dr Brook's is a very good vet not going there will be your dogs loss. Apparently you don't want the best for your pet!!!"

Oakleaves that was pathetic. That was uncalled for. If outlaw has limited financial resources he will do what he needs to do in his families best interest for them and his pet. There are lots of great vets around the area that don't milk people out of there money with that same shame on you rhetoric you just pitched. Grow a brain, not everyone can afford the BEST in life! Doesn't mean he doesn't care about his pet.

Ladybug, why I am not surprised with your comment?

switched to digital X-rays, which was a large investment?

yeppers and why my pooch won't be using that vet service. thanks for the heads up. can't afford to lose the homestead over xrays. surprised obama hasn't forced owners to sign up there pets for obamacare but that might be a coming down the line. the cost of a vet is almost to a low of needin dog insurance. har har
