Obama’s wage plan will cost everyone

February 3, 2014

Assuming President Barack Obama means what he says — more than an idle concern, in view of his record for veracity — Americans are about to get a lot less for the tax dollars they send to Washingto....

You know what makes me feel like there is hope? Being continually labelled as a drug user by a bunch of emotional people who don't know me. When you have to resort to that and you can't combat the arguments, we know we're winning.

See what happens when we go off-track. I'm leaving this one and going to the new question, same sort of subject. Not sure if anyone will rethink their own opinion or not--altho I will say, the last discussion on marijuana was fairly sane and people are thinking about what and why they feel a certain way. Maybe there is hope.

LOL...ok, let me get this straight, you're a stranger to me, using a pseudonym like a real man, you wildly accuse me of being a drug user any chance you get (in a public forum by the way), and now you're going to share your opinion on how I use my time? Kiss my ass old man, you sure are willing to take a pretty discombobulated, incoherent stance on a lot things you're completely ignorant of. Mind your own*****business.

"Kozy has the Constitutional right to pray where he wants, when he wants. There is no Constitutional right not to be offended."

Once again we see the Right Wing Nut Jobs pull out the Constitution and try to beat someone over the head with it as if it were simply a rolled up newspaper. They just cannot help demonstrating their ignorance in using the constitution in such a disrespectful way.

One more time for all the ignorant, self righteous, bible thumping, I believe I am going to heaven so while here on earth I can treat you like the dungheap I believe you to be, Nut Jobs. The Constitution protects you from any legal prosecution while committing your insane religious act and guaranties that Congress will not infringe upon your right to commit your insane religious act. The Constitution in no way, manner, shape or form prohibits me from criticizing your selfish, self centered, treating with total contempt the beliefs of others, insane religious act.

The breakfast went fine. As agreed to, we did not talk politics. Everyone talked...some more than others but it was just having some food and talk. No one threatened to throw anyone out the window :-).

The only thing I object to is calling me a liar...I don't and it has gone on way too long w/o a discussion. Now that it is cleared up, let's just go on. If we ever have another breakfast together, we should have a note taker to protect each other. The only thing I would have wanted is some more time getting to know bug since I guess we worked together before I went to college, at Salem Stamping. I believe a little friendly talk can go a long way...but that's just my belief.

BTW...the next evening I have a great cup of coffee and discussion with Louigi. Great guy. And, did we pray???

While the holy ones have seen their incomes rise 31 % the last 3 years.

The rest of us keep going backwards.

******me off when I go to a grocery store and see some much older couple struggling to chose between a cheap # of meat and their meds,

As far as the minimum wage .Go smoke one !

Everyone needs an adjustment in theirs incomes and was the way it used to be. A 3 % raise equaled different amounts depending on incomes

Now people like you think the almighty rich and powerful are the only deserving ones.

"I clearly have no idea what happened at Bob Evans, but what about being an atheist gives you the right to squash someone's religious liberty?" There is absolutely nothing about being an Atheist that allows anyone to squash someone's religious liberty. There also should be nothing about being a Christian that allows them to deliberately make an Atheist uncomfortable in a public setting with overt displays of their religion at meeting they were invited to. Now crawl back under your rock and when we need some more comic relief, we will rattle your chain.

But seriously, I hope you read all I wrote, not just the last post with something you could jump on.

I do try to show respect, so it's a little frustrating to have one line used against me, when I did not mean it the way you said.

I did say, if this is more than just a talking point issue, then I apologize for not speaking up.

In the interest of total honesty, my son and wife were chewed out by apt manager in Turkey for grilling on their balcony during Ramadan too, so what can I say?

"But our family members have been with muslims during ramadan and have avoided eating in front of them during the day." Obviously you have more respect for Muslims than you do for Atheists. I guess for you as long as you believe in a god, any god that is better than nothing right?
