I am pleased to see them cracking down on these violators. Our street was resembling the Michigan Speedway.

Yep, isn't it amazing how a pro-active Police Dept. can make an impact.

questioner, I don't see this as traffic violation citations being up, I see at as traffic violations by residents being up. I liked Chief Floor, he was a nice guy but his public relations strategy only spoiled Salem residents.

I wish Salem would bring back our own traffic court.

Wow. Very impressive. Thank you all.

I live and work here, but had no idea traffic violation citations were up so much--from what I've read, along with the traffic stops you've been able to pick up some of them for other things at that time. Again, I'm impressed.
