Questions (and please don't take these as sarcastic or anything, I am truly curious): How do they know the valves are still in working order? Are there working water lines to the toilets? What is beneath the toilets--i.e., I don't assume they are "outhose style," with just a hole, I assume they are (were?) connected to waste pipes. Are the waste pipes still there? Are they still connected to the sewage system?
