No Dan Bricker, not narrow minded at all to attack one program. If the football lights or soccer lights were left on around the clock, day after day, believe me there would be complaints. He has no limits. How can you even compare free and reduced lunches to his frivolous productions.

BTW...8AM at Bob Evans on November 19th...first annual get together of those who post here. This old conservative, Christian, believer in the Constitution and limited government will take all you liberals on if I have to, but I am asking those who agree with me to be there. This will be a time of getting to meet and talk about non political things. No fighting or name calling.

At 8AM, it might be busy so please let me know how many. We want to sit together...Joe

And yes, contrary to what you might hear...I will say a blessing on the food.

"Without the leadership and skills these programs teach the children what would all of these children be doing with their spare time? "

I can assure you, swager, United did not pay for the trip to China. I paid for my child to go to China. Actually, I spent over a year making payments for my child to go to China. Maybe you should do your homework before you comment on situations you know nothing about.

MILLERSUE / sdbrms, I'm strictly just guessing here but the person who pays for the '24/7 Zamarelli Productions' are the same 'people' (tax payers directly by patronizing the events or indirectly via tax dollars) who pay for the football lights to be turned on, the soccer lights to be turned on, the gymnasium lights /heating/cooling to be turned on after hours. Along with the kitchen bills related to free and reduced breakfast and lunch not including the other various school functions outside of the base 'education'. Without the leadership and skills these programs teach the children what would all of these children be doing with their spare time? Attacking one program is a little weak minded, don't you think?

Who paid for the Middle School Admin. to visit Salt Fork for a lonngg weekend last spring? Who pays the electric bills for all of Zamarelli's 24/7 productions?

Maybe a couple less musicals a year would save at least on the electric, don't you think?

"The result of the election makes it clear that our voters need more time and more information before they will approve additional school funding for West Branch."

No. we do not need more time. We do not need more information. We need you to live within your means.

Perhaps you just built a too big school building?

Oh, the 42% and the Super can start funding it themselves if they think they need it. Just a couple more candy bars right? A jar for donations and a thermometer to show progress outside would be super way to show you actually mean what you say.

United, for the cost of that internet and the trip to China which was in the tens of thousands, you could have started important things. Oh wait, you think that was important. We are not here to supply your wishes, we are here as a last resort to keep you functioning. Wake up. Funny, that boiler in bad need of repair is still running how many years later now? Once you lose public trust we cut you off.
