I read the first half of the sentence and assumed it was logical, but missed the point of the last part of the sentence.

Weigle also pointed out the state is moving toward consolidating 911 systems, especially among smaller counties, and Future Funding May Only Be Allocated Based On Systems With Single Dispatching Centers.

Umm, so do it already--consolidate. Whose decision is it? The commissioners? Come on, people, earn your salaries and make the right call.

Doesn't one location seem like an obvious, logical way to handle this anyway? Why pay for four centers when one would do it?
