It seems incredible that so many young people who have no memory of a world before the Internet are entirely unaware of the degree to which they have been dehumanized by the Web....

Writing "damn liberal kids" editorials every week isn't exactly portraying a "reality" to their much older readers, but it sure doesn't stop Ogden.

TS, it works for Odgden because most of its readers never went to college. That makes educated people a perfect target as an "other" group for people like Notsocialist.

Older people telling younger people to get in touch with reality is pretty hilarious to me. We live in a culture created by those people and now their spawn that has grown up in it is what is wrong with it. Doesn't make much sense when I put it that way, does it?

As a follow-up, the Athens County prosecutor chose to NOT file charges this afternoon because it was blatantly obvious that it was consensual (as the students had said). Now, should people have recorded it and posted it to social media? No... but the existence of video did prove useful to prevent a false rape accusation. Actual reality is the video can help as well as hurt.

Clarification: Prevent a false rape charge, there was a false accusation, and the evidence dismissed it at that

So, does whoever wrote this have their foot in their mouth? I agree TS, recording it and posting it in general is pretty unsavory behavior. But saying that students witnessed and wouldn't do something about a rape and dragging them through the mud based on an assumption is pretty unsavory as well.

NotSocialist, on your initial comment too, I noticed the prosecutor said that someone did punch the male involved in the face afterward, because they were offended by the action. So there was some "street justice"
