NRA has 5+ million members. Small group that thinks they deserve to run everything LOL...are you sure you aren't confusing them with the 400,000 member UAW? Or the 1 million member Teamsters? Get the memo from the left guys?! If you really believe in something, don't you dare stand up for it...unless you're a progressive Dem. The Right just wants to control everything and everyone!

What does the NRA and the Tea Party have in common? Very, very, small groups that think just because they have a lot of money they deserve to run everything.

Oh yes the claim with the CCW was made.

And if you think as a country 11000 gun death /yr is not a issue. then it's understandable why there's a problem

I don't have a problem with mine.There right where I need them

Who did the guy at the Navy Yard hate or the ones who shot the 13 in Chicago.

Easy to play that game.Much harder to address the problem

100% background check or none at all.

Address mental issues..

Limit size of clip.

Get more police on the streets

The gun lobby made up of the NRA and it's allies pour over a $ 100 million into it efforts to control things.

11000 /yr = over 30 gun deaths/day

This country has a problem And i'm not against guns because I have several

Just in case you missed the posting .There was 3 or 4 countries where the death rate from guns was under 100/yr

This is why I get tired of all this political bickering.

Instead of compromise .It has turned into a me thing. The spending process started back in April and should have resolved long ago.

Instead it was put off so we could end up in another BS deal like we have now,

What is this the 3rd or 4th now,

It start all over again on the 16th and again in Dec 15th.

The work solution is the same deal.. We need good paying jobs.Where people contribute to society and not live off it.

Before we can successfully do anything with the government paying for healthcare, we need to reduce the size of government and we need to reduce the non-working culture (I don't mean temporarily unemployed persons...I mean persons who absolutely refuse to work).

Obamacare does neither and that will guarantee failure. We will have healthcare resources quagmired in bureaucracy and will not have enough tax revenue to pay for it.

Now, back to the main topic,

Bug, I'm not necessarily against government funded healthcare but this Obamacare is a train wreck. On one hand, if businesses didn't have to provide healthcare insurance to their employees then that could make them much more competitive in the global market and it would make the USA more attractive for foreign businesses to set up shop here and hire Americans. On the other hand, we know how the government runs things, so it is foreseeable that getting a simple check-up will turn into a colossal pita.

"Boy the 13 killings at the Navy Yard sure died off in a hurry."

It sure did! The more they tried to use it for another reason for gun control the more they revealed about how gun control didn't work. The government failed in several areas.

The NRA regularly publishes accounts of armed citizens successfully defending themselves against attacks. They've been doing it for decades. You would know that if your handlers would permit you to read them. Additionally, there is no way to determine how many crimes were never committed because the persons contemplating the crimes determined they were too high risk.

"The only thing the NRA cares about is the gun lobby."

The NRA pretty much IS the gun lobby. Again, they wouldn't be so powerful if it wasn't for all the money everyday Americans send them to defend their rights against the crackpots and wannabe tyrants in government.

"11000 killed /yr in America" isn't a gun problem...its a cultural problem. These people will find a way to kill each other with or without guns.

The NRA suggested putting armed security in all our schools.

Have they sent a check yet ?

Oh that's right lets the tax payer pay for it.

Boy the 13 killings at the Navy Yard sure died off in a hurry.

So your saying all those institutions offer no health insurance .BS How smiling Popa Johns who won't raise the cost of his pizza $.20 so his employees could have ins,

Or maybe Wal-Mart who pays their employees such low wages they qualify for gov, assistance programs,

The only thing the NRA cares about is the gun lobby.

11000 killed /yr in America

Lets just arm everyone, They'll solve it all.

Kind of curious about one thing ?

When this whole thing started with the CCW all this crime was supposed to go away because the criminal didn't know who had a gun .

Apperantly they don't care.

Again I will say .

Whats your alternative ?

The cost of health insurance has been rising an avg, of 11 % or more yr, since 2000. There are now more than 60 million uninsured people.

Which means every time they go to the emergy room for care it gets added to our premiums .

So lets hear your plan

"Debunked"?

Can you post a link? My google search didn't come up with anything mainstream that stated Obamacare was absolutely not a consideration for the layoffs.

The Cleveland clinic myth was debunked several days ago. I would say I'm surprised that your still trying to uses it, but I'm not surprised at all. Actually, pretty par for the course.
