Well it is official. We need to get these "personal agendas" away from our tax dollars. And our tax dollars being used for what the law dictates. City Services. Downtown Salem isn't one of them.

If one penny of our tax dollars are used to shore up one business owner's private property "downtown"...this is what will happen.

People vs. City of Salem

...and then we need to do a "recall" and eliminate those who steal our tax dollars and discriminate against an entire tax based City that includes other BUSINESS OWNERS throughout this City.

WatchDog, the agends thing here should be no surprise... she was part of the worst school board in memory, as her and the late Mrs. Miller operated solely on their agenda of "always do the opposite of what the Superintendent says because we don't like him, because he's trying to upgrade the schools from when we worked in them".

watchdog good points. I don't know if these people are not able to read or what but city tax money can only be spent on what City services, police, fire, streets city buildings and equipment. This spending tax payer money for private ventures to create some imagined utopia needs to stop.

ts1227,would that be the same superintendent that put Cougras in charge of purchasing? and then signed off on the purchase orders?

Cougras had plenty of power LONG before that. Look at who he served as treasurer under in the 90's, and what happened to him legally. He just got caught under Brobeck.
