The Holiday Inn Express IS coming.. no thanks to the delays with Home Depot's unwillingness to share the right-away on the same road..leading to a different purchase of parcel. To the unfortunate delays of the engineer re-doing the work for a different parcel. Holiday Inn Express is coming and desires to be a part of the community. The legalities/delays can be part of the process at times but we will see it soon.

This ought to be interesting. With a hotel, I think it is safe to assume a restaurant and gas station will also be built. But if they are catering to the oil and gas drillers, maybe a roughneck nudie bar will also be in the plans. With that much commercial development, they will then be required to include a Subway, a dollar store, and a cash advance place as it is the standard everywhere else in Salem.
