Really? What do you expect Hallack to say? Yea I hired him for political reasons, I screwed up (again). But don't worry, you'll forget all about this, by the time I'm up for re-election.

Halleck's arrogance never ceases to amaze me. Instead of all this butt kissing he is doing on behalf of Newbold, he better start worrying about the people (taxpayers) that pays for (both) of those salaries! HIS and Newbold's. Halleck needs reminded...he is expendable and his position is not PERMANENT. His actions were quite clear and UNETHICAL. It was a PERSONAL AGENDA CHOICE. It had absolutely NOTHING to do with the best interest of this county and the public. Halleck you owe quite a few qualified applicants an apology for wasting their time with that "FRAUD" you called hiring process. Your lucky you haven't had a lawsuit slapped on your rear end for violating hiring practices.

Halleck you have insulted a lot of good people and that was UNCALLED FOR.
